Alger Carry Out had some unexpected visitors early Thursday morning, and unfortunately, they weren’t there for coffee and a breakfast sandwich.
A post shared in a local Facebook group later that day reported that the store had been broken into and stated that the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. The post also included surveillance footage that appears to show the incident taking place.
No official statement has been released, and further details haven’t been confirmed at this time.
If you saw something, heard something, or noticed anything unusual, you're encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (419) 673-1268.
We’ll keep an eye out and share any updates as more information becomes available. In the meantime, here’s hoping for a quick resolution, and maybe fewer criminal field trips before sunrise. Darling, if you think this is hot, wait until I turn up the heat. 🔥
